Our first monthly dance party since March of 2020 happenned on Friday night, October 27th, 2023 at Marist College in the music building (Murray student center)
- It was a huge success. We hope we can continue to use the room for more parties, but as you can expect, a room like that is in high demand. Sign up for our email blasts and you'll be the first to know when we schedule another one!
Our Annual 2019-2020 New Year's Eve Dinner/Dance was a great success.
The next West Coast Swing party &
workshop with Jun slated for this weekend has been canceled. But hopefully we will return in future months!

Our 4th annual Summer Ballroom BBQ Bash happened July 21st!
Based on our New Year's Eve gala, we are celebrating the summer season with an intimate night of dinner and dancing! Summer themed buffet included appetizers, entrees, sides, and desserts. Live music, DJ requests, personal dance coaching & group mixers will carry us through the evening.
Singles, couples, non-dancers and those with food allergies all catered to at this unique event. BYOB.

Latin party with live band on Cinco De Mayo!
Larry Moses and the Latin Explosion returned Saturday May 5th for our third Cinco De Mayo and largest attended one yet. Thank you all for celebrating Joe's birthday with good food, great music and a great community of dancers and dance-curious who have embraced this event!

Our 5th annual SWINGIN' HALLOWEEN MASQUERADE BALL Happened on Saturday October 28th. It was another grand event which was a great success thanks to all of you who showing such great studio spirit! Thank you Debbie for all your setup and food serving talents, thanks to Carol for your amazing cupcakes. Thanks to Shel and everyone else on cleanup duty, and thanks for all of your devotion to your great costumes! Can't wait 'till next year!
"Waltz and More"
Joe & Julie,
Just want you both to know how much we enjoyed your “Waltz and More” Class tonight. Joe, you did a wonderful job of instructing the new sequence – what a great move! Julie, the music was simply delightful and so beautiful to dance to. We have only been dancing about a year, but this was surely one of our favorite events ever! Well worth the hour and a half drive! We look forward to next month already. Thanks for providing such a wonderful Sunday afternoon!

POTENTIAL FORMAT:
Intro lesson for first 1/2 hour
Group mixer and door prizes following intro lesson.
2 hours of live music.
D music for another 1/2 hour (and during musician breaks) featuring other ballroom dances (Rumbas, Foxtrots, Tangos, Swings, Cha Chas, etc. as requested)J

Julie and I are hoping to start this dance up soon at the new location. The event is modeled after the successful "Mostly Waltz" dances Joe and Julie attended and enjoyed in Philadelphia, and fueled by the desire to share that same experience here in the Hudson Valley. Each month we will bring in a different professionally trained musician for a duet of live Waltz standards that are played with sensitivity to pacing, song length and a range of tempos including Viennese Waltzes, along with Ballroom standards, including foxtrot, swing, and tango. Attendance will be made up of singles and couples of all ages and skill level, with an excellent ratio of leaders to followers. We hope you can join us for one soon!
